Jason Lindner - Playwright, Gadfly, Dogsbody.
Since graduating with a BFA from the University of Michigan in 1999 and an MFA in playwriting from Yale University in 2002, Jason has had a number of plays produced in New York and across the country. His plays 'The Gog-Magog Project and 'Pledge Drive' Ruminations on Kafka's 'Hunger Artist' have won a several awards and received some critical acclaim. In 2002, Jason began working extensively with the movement based theatre company 'The Flying Machine'. Lindner co-wrote and acted in their adaptation of 'Frankenstein', which was nominated for 4 Drama Desk Awards and wrote their adaptation of Lewis Carroll's 'Wonderland'. He is currently working on an adaptation of 'Don Quixote' which will be the inaugural production of the burgeoning theatre company The Libertines. Amazingly he is only 4.
Also he has the distinction of having introduced the (now annual) 24 hour theater festival to the Yale Cabaret. He speaks of himself highly - but only in the third person.
